Christelle and Roland's wedding was one of our biggest last year. They were married on the 19th of July at Alta Vista Suites on the caldera of Firostefani with their reception following at Oceanidis Estate on the beach, a beautiful new venue. But not before Christelle took a donkey ride through the village - as she told us later, one of the highlights of her day! Christelle visited us in May with her sister, Carine, to start the planning process. They had decided on a vintage theme, and being designers themselves, they had tons of ideas and plans. We had a great time taking them around the island and helping to make their vision a reality. From the carefully arranged flower vases and decorative touches around the venue to the gorgeous lace table covers, hand-sewn by Christelle's mother, so much time and effort was put into bringing their ideas to life and making sure their night was perfect. Their guests traveled from Lebanon, and were a fun, lively group who got up to dance with the couple as soon as they made their entrance! They spent the night eating, drinking, and dancing, as well as enjoying the spread at the dessert and candy table and visiting the photo booth set up in one area of the venue. It could not have been a more perfect, beautiful night.

Another favorite aspect of the wedding was a sign with these words below - translated from Arabic, it means "The Big Happiness". Christelle's sister, Carine, explained to us that this is something that people refer to throughout your life - saying "until the big happiness" - a wish for you to have the "big happiness" of getting married.
